Western Plains Library System Volunteer Program
WPLS encourages the use of volunteers in its libraries. We believe in providing our volunteers with meaningful duties that are appropriate for the volunteer’s age, skill and education. Whether it be assisting with programs or maintaining shelf appearances, volunteers provide valuable assistance and help WPLS in its mission to “Connect people to information and entertainment.”
Volunteering at WPLS is easy. Simply talk with your local librarian about volunteer opportunities. You will be asked to fill out a short volunteer application. To save time, you may even fill out the form at home before you go to the library. Click here for our Volunteer Application.
